Material Care
Material Care
Subtle variation from piece to piece is natural with hand-finished aluminium, each piece containing unique variations. Over time, the surface will develop a natural patina and darken slightly.
Care
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth.
- If the surface comes into contact with water or other liquids, wipe clean and dry promptly to prevent spotting.
- Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners.
Candle wax
- To keep the piece clean, remove wax residue regularly.
- For easier cleaning, apply hot water to the base — the dried wax and base plate will release cleanly from the main sconce.

In-stock items ship from Sydney, Australia and are dispatched next business day when shipped via standard shipping.
We offer complimentary shipping within Australia and complimentary international shipping on all PARCTA Objects.
Furniture shipping is complimentary in Australia, and internationally, it is calculated by region and item at checkout.
For customers in the United States, objects ship inclusive of all duties and taxes, with no additional costs on delivery. For all other international destinations, duties and local import charges may apply. Furniture is shipped to all international destinations exclusive of duties and taxes.

Simply mount the custom hardware and the sconce clicks into place. Sitting securely off the wall, the sconce will not fall or tip, protecting your wall and creating an ambient shadow gap.
HAND-FINISHED BY ARTISANS
Each sconce undergoes various rounds of hand-finishing. Using sand-paper and scotch-brite of varying grits, each pass adds softness, creating an artisinal finish. Slight variations can be observed, unique to each piece.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The Egress Sconce is easy to clean and maintain. Any wax residue pools above the base holder. Once it cools and hardens, the base holder is easily removed from the sconce. Any wax residue is easily removed, ready for another use.
