The Standard Lamp Collection is an Australian made lighting collection. Commonly used in building construction for its durability and strength, industrial C-Channel aluminium is re-imagined in this collection as a tasteful addition, exploring the delicate balance between brutalism and softness.
Designed for any desk, study or bedroom, the versatile desk lamp provides a warm, soft glow, seamlessly complementing any space. With a soft, downward light direction shielding the user from direct light, the desk lamp is perfect for desk lighting or ambient mood lighting.
A small batch of desk lamps is currently under production, dispatching from our Surry Hills Studio from the end of April.

Subtle variation from piece to piece is natural with hand-finished aluminium, each piece containing unique variations. Over time, the surface will develop a natural patina and darken slightly.
Care
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth.
- If the surface comes into contact with water or other liquids, wipe clean and dry promptly to prevent spotting.
- Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners.
LED & Electrical Components
- Ensure the lamp is switched off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Do not allow moisture to enter the LED housing or electrical components.
- Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the lamp — apply to a cloth first.

HAND-FINISHED BY ARTISANS
Each desk lamp undergoes various rounds of hand-finishing. Using sand-paper and scotch-brite of varying grits, each pass adds softness, creating an artisinal finish. Slight variations can be observed, unique to each piece.
