Egress is available in hand-finished aluminium or aged brass. Each material has its own character and will naturally change over time.

  • Aluminium has a raw, hand-finished surface that will subtly darken and patina with use.
  • Aged Brass has soft tonal variation and will continue to patinate and evolve through time and touch.

For both finishes, promptly wipe dry if exposed to liquids, and clean wax residue after each use.

For orders outside Australia, the Egress Sconce is shipped inclusive of all duties, taxes and local import costs, meaning you will not be faced with any additional costs.

Simply mount the custom hardware and the sconce clicks into place. Sitting securely off the wall, the sconce will not fall or tip, protecting your wall and creating an ambient shadow gap.

HAND-FINISHED BY ARTISANS

Each sconce undergoes various rounds of hand-finishing. Using sand-paper and scotch-brite of varying grits, each pass adds softness, creating an artisinal finish. Slight variations can be observed, unique to each piece.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The Egress Sconce is easy to clean and maintain. Any wax residue pools above the base holder. Once it cools and hardens, the base holder is easily removed from the sconce. Any wax residue is easily removed, ready for another use.
